Link-ages Hub is the app for the older generation.

We believe that technology and instant communication can enrich the lives of the older generation by keeping them regularly connected to the rest of their family, wherever they may be. The problem has been that apps have not been designed or targeted at less experienced users thereby excluding many older people.
Link-ages is different. It has been built to bring instant, private and safe communication to the older or less experienced user and is very easy and intuitive to use. It can be set-up and managed by the user or a family member via the Shadow app.

This iPhone and iPad app uniquely comes in two different formats to do two different jobs. A quick input app for family and friends and the main app for the older generation.
Link-ages is a very simple to use, advertisement-free communication and photo storage platform. It is intuitive and so therefore simple to learn and it can be used to engage users and therefore help to combat the problems of boredom, isolation and loneliness that some older people experience.

We have created a three-part system tailored to the older person and their family.
• Link-ages (Hub): A simple user experience for the older person
• Link-ages Go: A quick to use input app for all the family
• Link-ages (Shadow): A set-up and management facility for the nominated family member to help the primary user if necessary.

We all take frequent, instant communication for granted, now we can include our older relatives, with photographs and messages that they can open simply by a few touches on an iPad screen.
